Airline Reviews

American Airlines

800-237-7976

American has had some widely publicized incidents of wheelchair mishandling, and ranks lower than the other big airlines (except for JetBlue) for wheelchair users. Also, its fleet of widebody jets has shrunk: its ranking for domestic wide-body flights has fallen from second place in 2019 to last now. But it's the largest airline in the world, so sometimes we don't have other options. And sometimes I find myself with enough Aadvantage miles to book a flight, so I do. We can do better, American!
